Di is Ian's soulfinder, who died early on in their relationship. Ian is the father of Sky Bright, who had a relationship with Franny after losing Di.
Finding Sky[]
Di does not appear in the book, but is mentioned by Franny when she is arguing with Ian over who gets custody of their daughter, Sky. Franny appears sympathetic and apologies for the loss of Di, even though it is assumed that her death was not Franny's fault, and says that Ian lost Di too early.
